PM Modi dedicated Shri Mahakala Lok to the nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated Shri Mahakal Lok to the nation. Phase I of the Mahakal Lok project will help in enriching the experience of pilgrims visiting the temple by providing them with world-class modern amenities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inspected the Mahakal Lok corridor in Ujjain after inaugurating the project, accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The prime minister added, During the Azadi Ka AmritKaal, we broke the shackles of colonialismToday, cultural destinations across India are seeing all-around development. For the first time, Char Dhams are being connected with all-weather roads.
The Mahakal Lok corridor, measuring more than 900 metres in length, is expected to boost Madhya Pradeshs tourism. The project was built at the cost of around Rs 850 crore and will allow the pilgrims visiting the temple to experience world-class amenities.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the project, PM Modi said, Spirituality is contained in every particle and divine energy is being transmitted in every corner of Ujjain. Ujjain has led India's prosperity, knowledge, dignity and literature for thousands of years.
PM Modi said, Innovation comes with renovation. India is renovating what it had lost in the era of slavery. India is renovating it and restoring its glory.
